We did our research on who may be the best company to use for our Extension. This company led by a very friendly, knowledgeable and approachable Frankie. Not only did he give us great advice on our build but he was also open to taking on board all the little tweaks we made to plans. We saved a lot of time thanks to his vast array of contacts in Painting decorating, tiling, electrical, plumbing and kitchen fitting. Do yourself a favour dont bother with the rest, First choice are the best!
When my original builder let me down, following a recommendation from a friend, I called 1st Choice Builders. From Day 1, Frankie was incredibly engaging and professional. We had several consultations and once he knew what I wanted, he and his team worked hard with me on putting a package together for my build. Frankie and his team are clearly passionate about and take pride in their work and from the beginning I knew I had made the right choice. There was complete transparency and constant communication with regards to progress of the build and the direct relationship they have with suppliers meant that there were no delays for parts (my windows and doors arrived 2 weeks after they were ordered!). I was told 10-12 weeks for the build and despite legacy issues being uncovered with my drains the build actually finished ahead of schedule! Nothing was too much trouble for the team and what really impressed me was how respectful they were of my elderly neighbour, particularly when it turned out the drain issue was affecting her too and they worked out of hours to ensure it was fixed quickly. I'd always been told that having a big build done was really stressful and messy but my experience so far has been the total opposite and I put that down to the talented team that Frankie has put together. Frankie promised me a turnkey build with a high-quality finish and that is exactly what I got!

I have no hesitation in recommending 1st Choice Builders. They did a fantastic job on my extension in 2020. From the very first meeting with Frankie, I felt comfortable with him and had no hesitation in going ahead with the project. Frankie, Niall, and the rest of the team were all great to deal with, always at the other end of the phone if I needed them. I did not make it easy for them, a lot of chopping & changing but they were very accommodating with all my changes. We even stayed within budget! A couple of years on from getting our extension and we couldn’t be happier. 1st choice were one of a number of quotes we got but came out on top regarding value and offering.
