What a gem this place is ..five minutes to beaumont hospital..warm cosy spotless clean. comfy bed.. room good size ..beautiful breakfast and dinner..weldon you are a true gentleman..you well deserve the five stars plus more...you went out of your way to make us comfortable ..we will be back again

Weldon’s Lucyswell Bed and Breakfast is one of kind! I stayed there for almost a month and I always felt welcome and Weldon and his team made everything to make me feel like home. My room was very good in size, always clean, and very warm as I got to know the Irish weather. Overall, I was honestly very much satisfied not only because this is a very good deal but because the standards of their services and personality are well above.
Where to start? Spotless bright clean rooms. Great breakfast served by Lisa who was so pleasant. A worrying time for our family as our sister was recovering from major surgery in Beaumont. The B&B was very convenient to the hospital. Wheldon was fantastic accommodating varying family member's booking in etc.. Even gave one of them a packed lunch for long bus journey home! He always enquired after the patient. I would highly reccomend to anyone visiting the area.
A completely horrible place. I lived there for a month and I hated it. The house looks good and clean, but the landlord is annoying. He has a horrible attitude, he curses at you and he treats you as if you are working for him. And oh, you can't use WIFI in your room. You have to go downstairs to the living room and there are only 2 chairs there that he allows the guests to use, so you have to pray that you will find an empty chair when you go to the living room. Of course there is a table there, but he doesn't let anyone use it. Thank god I know live in a decent place where the landlord is not crazy. IF YOU DO NOT WANT YOUR VACATION TO SUCK, NEVER LIVE THERE.
