This is a great beauty salon in the heart of Santry. Salon is spotless.Customer parking outside or close by. Louise provides an excellent service and beauty advice too. My nails look fab as does my eyebrow trio. Health and safety are uppermost. Happy to be a regular customer. Salon is spotless.
One of the worst experiences I have had getting my nails done. I received a very unfriendly greeting once I arrived to the salon. The woman told me that my nails were awful and that I should be getting shellac not acrylics because they ruin your nails. After this unpleasant greeting happened, the conversation picked up and I began to have a nice chat with the owner who was doing my nails. She was very rough and I was worried the sides of my nails would start to bleed. She went through each hand very quickly and when I asked her for what design I wanted she refused to do it for me. I went along with her idea for the colour because I could see she eager to get home rather than focussing on my nails. She ended up giving my nails one coat of colour to which she didn't apply the coat fully on each nail. Certain nails which you can see from the photos look like they have grown out. This is then 20 minutes after getting them done. She just didn't bother to pain the whole nail. I am really really disappointed as I had put money away to splurge on my Christmas nails. I would never write a negative review as I don't believe in tarnishing a businesses name. But this just was not acceptable and I would advise anyone getting their nails done to not go to this salon. I only stated using this saloon recently , as I am working over the North side the odd day during the week, I had to book appointments , and found Louise to be very professional . The facials and back massage were so relaxing , I nearly fell asleep. The attention to detail during the treatments was 100% and I would have no hesitation in recommending Louise to my friends .
